Bret Galloway

Bret is a native South Carolinian from the Upstate. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in English from Clemson University, he obtained his Juris Doctor and a Master’s in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School. Bret also completed the Zentrale Oberstufenprofung while living in Germany, demonstrating fluency in the German language. He later earned his Master’s in Business Administration degree from Clemson University.

His practice includes commercial real estate, estate planning, economic development and corporate/business law. Bret is admitted to the Bar in South Carolina and Wyoming.

Bret is a life-long learner who enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, exercising, and playing with his two Portuguese Water Dogs, Truman and Scout.

Matt Schell

Matt is originally from Covington, Georgia. He attended Clemson University where he received a bachelor’s degree in marketing. While at Clemson, Matt was a member of the Clemson University football team and became 3-year letterwinner.

After graduating from Clemson, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. Matt later earned a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Faith, Work, and Economics from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.

His practice areas include commercial real estate, economic development, and corporate/business law. Matt is an active member of the South Carolina Bar. He is currently supporting Galloway Partners, LLC in an of counsel role.

April Galloway

April is originally from the Upstate of South Carolina. She and Bret are a husband-and-wife team that started their journey together in high school. They moved to Daniel Island in 2013 to enjoy the Lowcountry lifestyle. April is a graduate of Clemson University with a B.A. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She has spent half of her career serving her communities and students through the South Carolina public school system and the other half supporting the law practice they have built. April serves as an office manager and bookkeeper of the firm while also providing extra paralegal support.

She loves Daniel Island and the active lifestyle it promotes. She enjoys jogging, riding the Vespa to dinner with Bret, working with plants inside and out, and walking their two Portuguese Water Dogs, Truman and Scout.
